Trudon was founded in 1643 at the beginning of the reign of Louis XIV. This makes Trudon the oldest candlemaker in the world, that is still active today. Throughout the 17th century, the manufacturer became the Royal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier to the French court, and then to Napoleon Bonaparte. Steeped in history, we think they are the finest candles in the world.
