Canvas Fabrics

From France, our fabulous range of striped and plain canvas fabrics hold unlimited possibilities for inside and outside. Whether you want to create sophisticated beach chic, urban casual or French country style, these fabrics co-ordinate to create spectacular results.

Woven from pure first quality cotton threads, the cloth is made of two threads rolled together to produce one final thread used in the weft as well as the warp which gives the cloth the unique canvas finish.
Created by a family who have been weaving and dying fabrics for over 160 years, the staining process which gives it the vibrant colours is called "grand teint" which is a quality of dyeing that guarantees a better hold of the colors.

The cotton canvas range is completely colour fast and can have an organic treatment applied to ensure it is stain and mould resistant. It comes in 180 cm wide bolts in a wide variety of designs.

The viscose canvas is completely colour fast and is sun treated. There is a limited selection in 180 cm wide, and a larger selection in the 43 cm, which is specifically created for awnings, deck, director and beach chairs. It is also fabulous for outdoor / pool side built in seating and boating upholstery.

The wax treated cotton canvas is a tighter weave created for home wares such as lamps and table settings.

Canvas Selection

All our canvas is sold by the meter. In addition to what you find below, we have created with the maker co-ordinating plain fabrics. For any cotton product expect a 7 to 10% shrinkage, which only applies to length. When we are managing an upholstering or interior decoration project, all fabric is pre shrunk according to the job specification. Trade and wholesalers should contact us directly with any enquiries.
